I made a reservation with carrentals.com, but my plans changed, and I wanted to cancel the reservation. I forgot my password, so I clicked 'forgot password' and got a message that a link would be sent to my email (the message included the correct email).
I never got the email. I tried 'Resend Link' and still didn't get the link. I tried it several more times and didn't get the link. The customer support phone number didn't work.
How am I supposed to modify/cancel my reservation? There are a lot of ways to rent a car - I've used carrentals.com many times. Going forward, unless this is fixed, I'll find another way to rent a car. It's a shame because carrentals.com used to be reliable.
I had to call the car rental company to cancel my reservation. But I want to know how to reset my password.

Problem
- - Tried to call car rental.com; wanted my husband as driver.
- - Despite my husband's name on the reservation, an extra driver fee was charged.
I tried to call car rental.com as I was at the Cancun car rental and I clearly said I wanted my husband as the driver, but Localiza was going to charge me an extra fee even though even on the reservation, I had my husband's name on the agreement. Since no one would answer my call, I had no choice but to pay for the extra driver.
Localiza said car rental.com had to change the reservation in order to not pay but there was no way to contact them by phone. So frustrating.

I made a reservation trough CarRentals in June to rent a car in Algers. They sent me by mail the confirmation mail and an itinerary number.
I stipulated an insurance plan. On July 20 when I arrived in Algers airport there was no company (Hertz) no car and the phone number they gave me did't work.
I tried to receive assistance from CarRentals but they didn't answer. I canceled the insurance but to have back my money I have to wait for several days, Is this a service?

I am writing to seek urgent assistance regarding a recent car rental booking made through CarRentals.com. Despite having prepaid for the reservation, I encountered a significant issue when attempting to pick up the car from Sixt Rent a Car.
Upon arrival at the Sixt rental location, I was informed by the agent that my account was blocked, and as a result, I was unable to rent the car.
The agent advised me to contact CarRentals.com directly to resolve this matter.

Did not receive email with confirmation number so do not appear to be able to access customer service without that number so am lost. Office not open yet so waiting some more.
No email received but you went ahead and charged me $104 on May10, but cannot find out what for without your confirmation email and number.

The cruise ship that we were going on to Hobart Tasmania broke down and our cruise was cancelled. I tried to contact carrentals.comto cancel my car booking but found it too hard to do so I went onto Avis s site and found manage my booking. I cancelled the vehicle with Avis and was advised I would be reimburse the full amount. After a month I noticed that I had not been refunded so have contacted your representative who advised me that even though I cancelled with Avis.
Avis does not communicate the information with rentals . Com so I would not be receiving my refund. I will not be accepting this excuse by rentals.com and demand the full refund. I will be taking this matter to social media and any other outlet that I can to tell my terrible story if you dont refund me in full.
My wife and my assistant have spent a lot of time communicating with both Avis and rentals.com over this matter.
I do hope you can understand the situation and refund me asap in full. Allan Perkins.
